SCE&G has generously donated $25,000 to support Local Disaster Relief and other vital services of the American Red Cross of Central South Carolina.

"We realized that each year our local Red Cross Chapter directly touches the lives of more than 43,750 SCANA/SCE&G individuals in our community through disaster relief, service to military families, and through our community education and training programs." said Marty Phalen of SCE&G. "We recognize that the American Red Cross doesn't just wait for disasters to happen. The Red Cross Disaster Services volunteers and staff actively educate people throughout our ten county region about how to prepare themselves and their loved ones for disasters. SCE&G understands the positive impact that Red Cross Disaster Preparedness training has when tragedy strikes, and we want to support this education as well as the Red Cross Disaster Response efforts in our community."
